Our first impression was a well presented dining area, nicely decorated with plenty of space between tables. After being greeted, we had a drink at the bar before being shown to our table. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, we were quickly attended to, offered more drinks and provided with menus. Within minutes, our drinks arrived, we were shown the steak selection and our orders were taken.
The starters (empanadas, buffalo mozzarella salad, crab croquetas and choripan) soon followed, with fresh drinks, provided by very attentive staff. The front of house staff were always on hand, although never intrusive, and once our starters were finished, our table was quickly cleared, and the main course brought.
All the steaks (wagyu, ribeye and sirloin) came with handcut chips, and we had grilled mushrooms, grilled halloumi and fried onions as additional sides. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and beautifully presented, and the sides and sauces (bernaise, black peppercorn and chimi mayonnaise respectively), perfectly complimented the steaks.
A fresh round of drinks, and a dessert selection of churros, banoffie pie and caramel ice cream completed the meal.
Overall, a 5 star experience. Superb food, cooked and presented beautifully; welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and a great atmosphere in the restaurant.
